Apartment of about 80 sqm, perfect for 4/6 people (but it can host up to 8 people), located in a pedestrian area, on the ground floor of a renovated house overlooking Lake Como. The property is located in the historic centre of the enchanting Carate Urio, characterized by mule tracks and quiet contradas. This apartment consists of a living room, a living area with kitchen (with lake view), two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a patio overlooking the lake. Private parking available 100 meters away. *LONG STAY ALLOWED* The house is located in a pedestrian area and can be reached by paths and stairs in a few minutes from the nearest parking lots. There are 5 steps to access the apartment. The space is organised as follows: - LIVING ROOM: sofa bed (for three people); - LIVING AREA with OPEN KITCHEN (gas hob, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, moka, dishwasher, toaster, blender, handheld vacuum cleaner, wine glassses), dining table , TV (with chromecast) and double sofa bed; second living space, separate, with another double sofa bed and reading corner with an armchair and small tables. - BEDROOM I: double bed and wardrobe; - BEDROOM II: double bed; (in the hallway between the two bedrooms there is a large built-in wardrobe) - TWO BATHROOMS with shower box, sink, bidet and toilet; - PATIO overlooking the lake with outdoor furniture (dining table for six people, chairs, motorised awning); - LAUNDRY and STORAGE ROOM. OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited WiFi, independent heating, washing machine (in the laundry room), hairdryer, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hall stand. OTHER INFORMATION: a covered parking lot is included and is located in a garage 100 meters from the property (GARAGE SIZE: width 3 meters / length 3 meters / height 2.5 meters; also suitable for SUVs). All identity documents of the guests must be presented on arrival as required by Italian law. Please note that late check-ins must be agreed directly with the property and require a supplement of 30,00 euros after 21.30 and until 00.00. The payment of the tourist tax is required for the first 7 days. The amount is 0.50 Euro per day per person. Children up to the age of 7 and the disabled are exempt. The apartment is at guests' disposal! Our keyholder will get in touch with you to arrange the check-in time, give you the keys and show you the apartment. The little towns are peaceful and authentic, no tourist crowds around, but close enough to have fun if you are looking for it. All the main attractions - as historical villas, museums, gardens, lidos, beaches. restaurants and the city of Como - are max 30 minutes by car, and easy to reach also by bus or ferry. The apartment overlooks a well-known and appreciated trekking route of the lower Lario. Near the house, a small grocery store guarantees the supply of all the essentials and offers many fresh products, including bread, croissants, cold cuts, cheeses and various local delicacies from the Lake and Valtellina. It is also possible to take advantage of the home delivery of fruit and vegetables directly from the fruit and vegetable market of Como. Finally, it is worth mentioning the presence of Bennet supermarket, at the entrance of Como (just coming from Carate Urio), which represents a convenient solution for buying products during your stay. Car, bus and ferry are the easiest ways to explore the surroundings . Parking could be not so easy during busy season, especially close to the main attractions. Ferry rides may be less frequent in winter. Parking is included (covered and assigned parking lot in a garage 100 meters away from the property).
