Car Park An indoor parking is available upon request. Two Weeks before you check out our renting Team will check out the Studio. If the Studio is in a bad shape, we will ask you to leave earlier as it has to be clean for the next guest. If it is in a terrible shape, we might ask you to move out earlier. Max 2 weeks so that our cleaning Team can get it ready for the next tenant. Cancellation / Stornierung Covid-19/20/21 Englisch: Usually the lease has fixed term and dates and may not be cancelled. Cancellation will only be accepted if there is an important reason. Important reasons for a cancellation are: Not a student anymore, illness-case, death in the family ... In the current, special situation, the following points, among others, are considerate as an "important reason" and therefore allow the cancellation or change of the rental contract: 1) Entry or exit ban in the corresponding country of origin/travel country (for Germany, there is a current entry ban from all non-EU countries) 2) Request from the government of the home country of the respective tenant to return immediately to the home country (in case the student is indeed forced to go back) 3) Cancellation of the complete Erasmus or study program/internship In these cases, a cancellation of the rental contract according to 2.2 of the rental contract is legally possible. If any of these points apply to you, please feel free to contact our reservations department. Please be aware that we need a proof of the reason why you want to cancel your contract and a enquiry as PDF. The change to onlin(hidden)sses wont be accepted as an important reason. Depending on the property, you can choose between apartments with a minimum lease term of 6 to 12 months. However, during this rental period you must always be studying. Please note, the return of your apartment to us is one week before the end of the rental period, in order to be able to carry out cleaning, maintenance and repair measures necessary due to the use of the apartment and for a direct follow-up rental. We have calculated the rent on the basis of an effective term shortened by one week, so that this regulation does not represent an economic disadvantage for you. Of course, if you extend your stay with us and continue to reside in your apartment, no prior move-out is required between your old lease and your new lease. DE: Welche Mietvertragslaufzeiten sind verfgbar und was hat es mit der 1 Woche vorzeitigem Auszug zu tun? Je nach Objekt kannst du zwischen Apartments mit mindestens 6 bis 12 Monaten Laufzeit whlen. Whrend dieser Mietzeit musst du dich jedoch immer im Studium befinden. Bitte beachte, die Rckgabe deines Apartments an uns erfolgt eine Woche vor dem Mietende, um aufgrund der Nutzung des Apartments und fr eine direkte Anschlussvermietung erforderlichen Reinigungs-, Instandhaltungs- und Reparaturmanahmen vornehmen zu knnen. Wir haben die Miete auf der Basis einer um eine Woche verkrzten effektiven Laufzeit kalkuliert, so dass diese Regelung keinen wirtschaftlichen Nachteil fr dich darstellt. Wenn du deinen Aufenthalt bei uns verlngerst und in deinem Apartment weiterhin wohnhaft bleibst, ist natrlich zwischen deinem alten und deinem neuen Mietvertrag kein vorheriger Auszug notwendig. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Was passiert nach der Buchung auf HousingAnywhere? Wichtig: Nachdem deine Buchung auf HousingAnywhere besttigt wurde, musst du deine Reservierung noch einmal in unserem System finalisieren. Es kommt folgendes auf dich zu: 1. Du erhltst per Mail einen Link zu unserer Website. 2. Auf unserer Website musst du nun noch einmal den Apartment-Typ auswhlen, welches du dir auf HousingAnywhere gesichert hast. 3. Danach erhltst du einen passwortgeschtzten Zugang zu unserer App und kannst hier deine Immatrikulationsbescheinigung sowie die Kopie deines Personalausweises oder Reisepasses hochladen und den Vertrag besttigen. 4. Anschlieend prfen wir deine Angaben und wenn alles passt bekommst du eine automatische Mail mit der Zahlungsaufforderung der Kaution und unserer one-off Handling Fee (diese ist unabhngig von der HousingAnywhere Booking Fee!) 5. Sobald keine Zahlungen mehr offen sind (innerhalb der nchsten 5 Werktage) und das Geld bei uns angekommen ist, schlieen wir die Buchung final ab und du erhltst eine finale Besttigungsemail. 6. Bitte beachte, dass die Buchung ber unser System sptestens 7 Tage nach der Buchung auf HousingAnywhere abgeschlossen werden sollte. Nach 7 Tagen ist das Zimmer nicht mehr fr dich reserviert und kann von anderen gebucht werden. Kurz vor Semesterbeginn knnen Reservierungen nur 2 Tage gehalten werden. Eine Rckerstattung der bisher gezahlten Kosten ist in diesem Fall nicht garantiert. Keine Sorge, falls du Hilfe bentigen solltest, kannst du dich immer gerne bei uns melden! What happens after your booking is completed on HousingAnywhere? Good to know: After your booking has been confirmed on HousingAnywhere, you have to finalize your reservation in our system. The following steps have to be completed: 1. You will receive a link to our website by e-mail. 2. On our website, you have to select the apartment type you have booked on HousingAnywhere. 3. As the next step, you will receive password-protected access to our app where you can upload your enrolment certificate, as well as a copy of your ID card or passport, and confirm the contract. 4. Afterward, we will check your details, and if everything fits you will receive an automatic e-mail with the payment request of the deposit and our one-off handling fee (this payment differs from the HousingAnywhere booking fee!). 5. As soon as there are no more pending payments (within the next 5 business days) and we have received the money, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation e-mail. 6. Please note that the booking through our system should be completed no later than 7 days after booking on HousingAnywhere. After 7 days, the room is no longer reserved for you and can be booked by others. Just before the semester starts, reservations can only be held for 2 days. In this case, a refund of the costs paid so far is not guaranteed.
