Italian Tax ID Code (Codice Fiscale) This is mandatory to sign the rental agreement. You can obtain it through your university (students), company office (employees), or by applying via the Agenzia delle Entrate website or your local Consulate (apply at least 2 weeks before check-in). Failure to provide it on time may result in additional charges. Documents Required Within 2 weeks of arrival, you must provide a passport copy, residential address details, and the Tax ID code of the contract holder. Contract Registration Stays of 30 nights or more require registration as per Italian law. Security Deposit A deposit equal to one month’s rent is payable on arrival.
