ENGLISH : (in French below / en français plus bas) Are you looking for a room to rent for the upcoming school year in the heart of Strasbourg and would like to improve your English/French by living with a Franco-American family? We have been living in Strasbourg for over 25 years, and in the past, we have taken in university students or interns for a full year or semester. We very much look forward to continuing the experience once again. The room which is offered is in an architectural gem of an apartment directly in town (avenue des Vosges, 300 m from the République tram stop) : - 5th-6th floor apartment with elevator - bedroom on the top floor of a duplex apartment (built in 1903 - fully renovated "appartement d'architecte") - queen-size bed (160x200), cupboards, bookcases, desk & chair - hardwood floor - shared kitchen and dining room during meal times - shared bathroom (there are 2 full bathrooms in the apartment) - separate WC - wifi (high speed fiber optic) - the bedroom window overlooks a quiet courtyard and luxuriant terrace garden - use of laundry room once a week * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Vous cherchez une chambre à louer au cœur de Strasbourg ? La chambre qui vous est proposée est dans un grand appartement en ville (avenue des Vosges, à 300 m de l'arrêt de tram République) : - Appartement au 5ème et 6ème étage avec ascenseur - chambre mansardée au dernier étage d’un appartement en duplex (construit en 1903 - "appartement d'architecte" entièrement rénové) - lit double (160x200), meubles de rangement, bibliothèque, bureau et chaise - parquet au sol - salle de bain commune (il y a 2 salles de bain complètes dans l'appartement) - WC séparé - wifi par fibre optique - un grand Velux qui surplombe une cour très calme (au-dessus d’une boulangerie... vous serez réveillé par l'odeur du pain fraîchement cuit !) - possibilité d'utiliser la buanderie une fois par semaine
