Mohrenstraße, o "Mohren Street" in inglese, è una nota arteria situata nel cuore di Berlino, in Germania. Ha una ricca storia ed è stato oggetto di alcune controversie a causa del suo nome. La strada è situata nel quartiere storico di Mitte, noto per il suo significato nella storia di Berlino e per la sua vicinanza a molti dei monumenti e agli edifici governativi della città. Mohrenstraße corre parallela al famoso viale Unter den Linden ed è vicina a siti iconici come la Porta di Brandeburgo, l'edificio del Reichstag e l'Isola dei musei. La controversia sulla Mohrenstraße risiede nel suo nome, poiché "Mohr" è un termine obsoleto e dispregiativo per le persone di origine africana. Negli ultimi anni, c’è stata una spinta per rinominare strade e monumenti di Berlino e di altre città tedesche che hanno nomi con connotazioni razziste o coloniali. Die Eckküche ist offen und mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen, von der Mikrowelle bis zum Geschirrspüler.
