The loft is situated in the hip Zeeheldenkwartier in the center of The Hague, between the Peace Palace and the Kings Stables. It's a 5 minute walk to the old city centre (as well as the the new :-), and a 10 minute bike ride to the beach. You are right in the middle of pretty everything. A throw stone away there is the cosy Anna Paulownaplein, with plenty little eateries and cafes. This is also a very green part of the city with the Paleistuin close by (great for picknicks), and the Sorghvliet park (garden of the Catshuis, residence of the prime minister) as well as the Haagse bosjes. The loft is the upper part of an old (1889) townhouse which is kept in prime condition and has managed to keep all the original details of former times. Come and take a look at those elaborately decorated ceilings! The loft shows the way the building was built, with huge beams, very high ceiling (6,5 meters) and extra added roof lights. Very comfortable with floor heating, a broad oak plank floor, a walk in shower, a toilet by Philippe Starck, a hip RVS kitchen with induction cooking plate, a wide bed (1.80 x 2.00 metres) with down duvet, big table with Fritz Hansen chairs. Renzo Piano cutlery, Hackman pans (IIttala). All designer furniture (Danish, Dutch, English designers). Very light and roomy apartment, 66 m2. Shared entrance, shared basement with Miele washer and dryer. Very fast wifi to your disposal. Anyhow, please be welcome. Ask for a special offer if you want to stay for a shorter period of time.
