From here the "U7" line takes you via Heumaden, Sillenbuch and Degerloch, directly to downtown Stuttgart and to Zuffenhausen and Freiberg. The "U8" line goes via Degerloch and Möhringen (here you can change to the U-Bahn to Hohenheim University) to Stuttgart Vaihingen. The bus stop "Ruit-Kirche" is 100m away.
