When you open the front door, you enter the shared living space. It’s fully furnished with sofas and bookshelves loaded with books. Additionally, there is a dining table and the apartment has fairly large windows. The kitchen and bathroom are also shared space. The bathroom has white tiles and a bathtub with shower. The kitchen is long and narrow and leads to a balcony. There is ample cupboard space, and it’s fully equipped. It also includes a gas stove and dishwasher. There is a washing machine on the property, which makes life a bit easier. San Giovanni is slightly different than other neighborhoods in Rome. The vibe is more modern. This doesn’t mean you can’t sightsee or relax. As a matter of fact, you can do both in the nearby Caffarella Park. There is an entrance just 12 minutes away. The park is sprawling - you can jog, bike and visit a couple of castles, as well as the San Callisto Catacombs. For everyday needs, there is a bakery just down the street and you’re only a 2-minute walk from the Carrefour Express. You don’t have to go far for cafés, pizzerias, restaurants and cocktail lounges. But you’re also close to public transportation for when you want to explore the rest of Rome.
