I am offering my 55m2 apartment in East Amsterdam for sublet during July/August. Ideally located, it is close to a park, restaurants, bars, and just a 10-minute bike ride from the city center.
This bright apartment is on the 3rd floor of a typical building and just a 2-minute walk from Westerpark, a perfect spot for picnics, walks, or sports activities. The neighborhood is warm, vibrant, very calm, and far from the tourist circuits, ensuring an authentic local experience.
The apartment is fully equipped, with a bright living room and an open kitchen. It has many windows, providing plenty of natural light.
It includes a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom, an open kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and a sofa.
Well maintained and bright double upper house of approx. 54m2 on the third and fourth floor in the middle of the popular Staatsliedenbuurt area of Oud-West. Just completely plastered and painted, including the ceilings.
Layout
Communal entrance on the ground floor. Through the entrance on the 3rd floor you enter the spacious living room of over 40m2 with neat open kitchen. From here but also from the extra deep (sitting) windowsills you have a beautiful view over the courtyard. The large sliding window frames are made of plastic and were replaced in 2011. Also, on this floor, there is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Via the spiral staircase in the corner of the living room, you reach the 4th floor with the bedroom (14m2) with a solid wooden floor. This has been built with a permit and has just been completely renovated.
On the shared 4th floor there is a laundry room. Also, there is a hatch to the roof.
Location & surroundings
The house is situated in a quiet street in the middle of the Staatsliedenbuurt (Westerpark). This popular and cosy neighbourhood is characterized by the many nice restaurants and cafés and authentic Amsterdam houses. More and more boutiques and restaurants have opened their doors. The Westerpark and the Westergasterrein are just a stone's throw away. Here you will find many nice restaurants and bars that are worth visiting, such as Brouwerij Troost, Pacific Park and Mossel & Gin.
Buses 18 and 21 stop around the corner and will take you to Central Station in 10 minutes, and tram 5, which has an Amstelveen terminus, also stops at Zuid WTC. At the Pontsteiger you can cross over to the trendy North and the A10 ring road can be reached quickly via the S103. A parking permit can be requested from the municipality.
