Located in an 1840s building (in a housing preservation site = "Denkmalschutz" ) with a very wide open court (cobble stone) in Praterstrasse 56-58. 8min walk to city center.
Enter through an historic cobblestone courtyard, leaving the buzz of the city behind, to find yourself in a classic Biedermeier building with a big chestnut tree garden in the back. The apartments boast large wooden windows (all facing the large open courtyard or the garden) and original wooden floors. The city center is walking distance (5-8 minutes to Schwedenplatz), and the U1 subway stop (Nestroyplatz) is steps away. There is a large selection of shops on the block, gourmet grocery store next door, drugstore, laundry, hardware store. The neighboring building houses the Johann Strauss Museum.

There's also a private bathroom and a separate toilet, providing you with all the comforts of home.
There are parking spots outside the apartment but the are not free in the Working Days from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday & Sunday free parking is available. You will need about 20 minutes into the city center and there are many different opportunities of public transportation between 1 and 5 minutes by walking: the bus (35A, 10A), the tram (37,38, D), metro (U4 and U6) and the train to go easily for a trip to the country side of Austria!
Furthermore there are many bars, clubs (Rideclub, Club Loco), and many restaurants between 1 and 10 minutes by walking. So the party is near, but in a “save” distance.
The room is 28sqm big and also fully equipped and has a big desk for working. The room is very bright and the windows show into the Kopehagenpark, so there is a little oasis in the City center.
