In an area characterized by typical Brussels houses, at the first floor of a very quiet maison de maître built in 1913 by the Commander of the Gendarmerie, this independent 55 m2 apartment is delicious, high ceilings and decorations, and fully furnished and equipped. The antique and design furniture offer the unique sensation to be at home. A large living room, with dining table, Smart TV/Sat, sofa and bookshelves has very large windows and a balcony overlooking the square. The bedroom is equipped with a 140*200 bed, armchair, antique closet, a small table and other furniture, it is full of light and overlooks a beautiful tree in the back-house garden. The apartment has a small kitchen corner (with fridge and freezer, microwave, electric cooker with oven, and other appliances) and a separated small bathroom with rain shower (90*90). All windows are new with double glasses. The Kitchen is new (2023).
Our guests are usually professionals or PhD students. Among them we have happily hosted diplomats, Pulitzer Prize journalists, senior executives, university researchers and young professors.
Occupancy is best appropriate for one person only. Occasional short-time visitors can be allowed prior authorization. The all-included rent is applicable to one single occupant.
Tenants can use the shared washing and drying machines.

The apartment is no smokers. No pets are allowed. No parties are allowed.
The apartment and all appliances are in perfect status. Cleaning once a week is mandatory.
The rental contract follows the applicable standard Belgian regulations.

At check in/out a written "état des lieux" is signed between the parties. A guarantee of one-two months is requested to cover eventual damages to the property.
